Glorious Goonies...

OK. Fess up.

Who else absolutely loves this movie and, when it first came out in our tender pre-pubescent years (make that 26 years ago. TWENTY-SIX YEARS) - wanted to go live on the Oregon coast just to get a chance to have so much fun in the pouring rain, hunting pirate treasure?

My wife loves The Goonies and will probably want to have it played at her wake (just kidding). She especially loves the chubby kid's confession...very funny.

Don't forget, after the promised tsunami the Oregon coase will begin somewhere around The Dalles.

GOONIES is one of my favorite movies EVER!!!! I used to think I would find pirate treasure, too, if I looked hard enough behind a dusty picture frame in my parent's attic. That is the ultimate movie.

Hey, I was on that beach with friends about six years ago. The ocean was wild and choppy there, compared to the California coast. I think it's called Cannon Beach.

YES, LE! Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock are the featured pirate/ocean venues. Being born in Portland and living in Lake Oswego (granted, for only 3 years as an infant/toddler) I feel a sense of connection to the whole state of Oregon. Which pricks up especially as I watch this movie over and over. :)
