Because THIS was what I needed to hear...

This really happened. Can you believe it?

Some people behave like unmitigated idiots. This warped idea of a "prank" is absolutely horrifying. I will be driving to the cleaners in the morning to pick up that trusty purple chenille turtleneck sweater. I might suddenly need it again.

Another good reason to stay home and wait for the DVD.

Wait! They caught them and RELEASED them in the desert? Don't these people read the Bible..."you shall bruise his head"? I don't fear many things but legless belly-crawlers top my list. They should catch the boneheads that brought snakes to a theater and release THEM in the desert!

Snakes don't bother me, but yeah, if I were watching a snake movie and one slithered across my foot, yup I would jump.

Hi Lachen-I just wanted to warn you of something that happened tonight. Someone spoofing the identity of Michael Gallagher of Christian Conservative posted a nasty note on one of our friends sites, which shook her up.
I think it was John D, whom both Michael and I have banned from our blogs, so if you see a comment purporting to be from Michael or me, or Allan or le, which doesn't sound like us, it's probably him. It's sad when this stuff happens, and I'm steamed that he tried to hurt kathy's feelings-she's a great lady.
Caveat blogger, I guess. Kathy has the same word verification on her blog as you do, but it's still easy to spoof someone else.

Actually, that was a hoax. See here http://www.azcentral.com/12news/news/articles/0822talker-ON.html

I live close to these theatres by the way. Have never seen a rattler here in town.

Le, you haven't? I live out here too, and we see them often. It was at Desert Ridge right?

Yes it was at Desert Ridge. But I live south of the 101, so it's a little more civilized over here. :-) I did see a coyote on my street one morning, though. And lots of quail and bunnies. It's a veritable treasure trove of little animals. But I've yet to see a snake or a scorpion. Maybe I lived a charmed life?

More back and forth to Le. I'm up north in Anthem, and they are common occurances here. They're doing a lot of building near DR maybe that drove them out. And I'm thinking you have led a charmed life in the desert b/c snakes are creepy!
